What happens next?
The new planning application has now been submitted to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.
If approved, Shirley Advance will then seek to conclude negotiations with retail tenants during the early part of 2011.
Construction should start in the latter half of 2011. Shirley Advance has appointed BAM Construction to deliver the scheme which, once started, will take about 21 months to complete; so we are currently hoping to open in time for Christmas 2013.
Some of the residential accommodation could be ready for occupation towards the end of 2012.
All feedback received from recent exhibitions has been collated and is included within a Statement of Community Involvement which has been submitted with the new planning application.
