A relaxing new shopping environment
‘Parkgate’ will bring about 20 new shops to Shirley Town Centre as well as an ASDA superstore and numerous cafes and restaurants.
The ‘Parkgate’ scheme has been designed to complement and extend the existing central shopping area along Stratford Road and to encourage shoppers back into Shirley Town Centre.
The development will be fully pedestrianised at ground floor level with a series of open squares linked by new malls with lots of places to sit and enjoy the new environment.
There will be opportunities for ‘Public Art’ throughout the scheme.
The basement car park, accessed from Haslucks Green Road, will offer all visitors to Shirley a total of 500 short stay spaces free of charge for no less than 3 hours.
