Shirley Advance is a joint venture between Helical Bar plc and Coltham Developments Ltd, which is run on a day to day basis by Robert Birch and Jonathan Cox from their office in Solihull. Shirley Advance was specifically set up to pursue this scheme and was selected by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council given the combined technical an financial strengths of the respective companies, their track record, understanding of the project and their commitment to continue Community Consultation.
Shirley Advance has appointed a first class professional team to work on this project. The team is made up of Architects, Landscape Architects, Structural and Civil Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Planning Consultants, Lawyers and Chartered Surveyors, all of which are based in the Midlands area.
The Construction of Parkgate will be undertaken by a Midlands based commercial contractor, BAM Construction and highways work will be undertaken by ARUP, both major organisations and highly respected in construction and development.
